Unfortunately the climate change debate is more a matter of politics and economics than of science and technology. The engineer Saul Griffith said that dealing with global warming is not like the Manhattan Project—it’s like the whole of World War II but with everyone on the same side. He was only half right because we are not all on the same side. Not yet, anyway. Getting leaders who are inspired by these huge challenges, rather than burying their heads in the sand, would be a big step in the right direction.Ian MacDougall boca politicsboca ratonbocafirstclimatesea level rise BocaFirst Reader previous post Golf in Boca for 2020 next post Boca City Council and Beach and Parks Meeting Splainer – Jan 6 & 13 2020 Related Posts April 30 2024 – Steven Friedman April 30, 2024 Sept 16 2023 – Alan Moore September 18, 2023 Sept 14 2023 – Joe Graubart September 14, 2023 Sept 14 2023 – Andy V September 14, 2023 August 10 2023 – Michael French August 10, 2023 July 16 2023 – Jack McWalter July 16, 2023
