Lake Worth, November 6, 2019 – the “Missing In America Project” (MIAP) interred 19 Veterans and 5 Spouses at the South Florida National Cemetery. They served in WW l, WW ll, Korea and Vietnam. Sadly, these Vets are known as “unclaimed veterans.” The mission of MIAP is to pay respect, give remains a proper and final resting place, because, as they state: “It’s the right thing to do.”
While it was mostly Vets, it was certainly uplifting and wonderful to see the turnout of people, including from Boca Raton, to offer their respect and pay homage to those who made such great sacrifice.
