Those of us who live in Florida live with storms. Really big storms. We call them hurricanes, while in other parts of the world they are called cyclones or typhoons. They are extremely dangerous and should be taken seriously. Here are a couple of links for you to read or bookmark.

This is the NOAA National Hurricane Center, which produces the official reports used by the newscasters. It’s a nice site, use it often:

In addition to animated winds and radar for anywhere in the world, you can fast forward the forecast to future dates and times based on the two most trusted forecast models GFS or ECM.
