Subject: I’m Tired Too
AARON TORRELIO
But not too tired to cast a vote on something that is absolutely critical to preserving the character of Boca Raton. Politics is toxic and I was hesitant to spend even a minute of my time educating myself about the upcoming city election. I was skeptical of anything that even had a whiff of populism. As the months wore on though, and my thoughts turned to what a mega construction project in downtown Boca Raton would mean for the city on a daily basis, I became acutely aware of just how important March 10th 2026 is to the future of our families and our city. At this point I have done the research. Our city is in excellent financial state. There is zero need to give away even a single flower bed to anyone in exchange for alleged financial gain. This is not the first time people outside this city have tried to grab its land, and it won’t be the last. Boca Raton is wonderful and there will always be outsiders looking to “cash in” on what we have. Past attempts at land grabs were voted down, and we owe a debt of gratitude to those who took action before us. I may be new here, but now its my turn to step up and take a stand for the future of this city after I am long gone. I cast my ballot already and I urge you to do the same. Vote “No” on March 10th.
