Boca’s Citizen Pedestrian and Bike Advisory Board has been very active advocating for improvements to make Boca Raton a safe and pleasant place to get around in something other than a car. Since October of 2022, BocaFirst has been attending board meetings to give voice to our reader’s ideas and concerns as well as share our knowledge and research. At the request of Pedestrian and Bike Advisory Board member Holli Sutton, BocaFirst assisted in developing designs and videos for her comprehensive look at Boca Raton’s pedestrian and bike infrastructure. Holli’s work resulted in a project bank of what to do that will make Boca Raton a better bike friendly city.
Map of the Advisory Board’s Proposed Projects
The board is busy working with city staff on the list. As a way of seeing the entirety of the proposed improved Boca Raton, BocaFirst created a visualization of all the projects. Then, for each project, there is a link to the details of the proposal with pictures and videos. Contact us via bocafirst.org and let us know what you think.
