“Bikesafety is a key issue in Boca and recently I wrote the mayor about the lack of bike lanes and access on Palmetto from Federal Highway  to A1A and got no response. It’s dangerous to bike on Palmetto with four lanes of traffic and two lanes of parking – there’s no room for bikes.  It’s an accident waiting to happen and I feel the city and one city Council woman don’t care. I find in general the city unresponsive to citizens. Obviously money talks.”

“As you all may know there are times on Palmetto Park Rd and A1A when the traffic is horrendous. Living on A1A is becoming very unappealing to us. Something needs to be done. It is a life safety issue.  I think it is a shame what is happening to our once beautiful city in the name of progress. I hear from people who live in our building they are thinking of moving out before it gets worse. “
