This web tool organizes the infographic and PAC information (if any) that we created during our analysis of the publicly available campaign finances filings. We wanted voters to be able to research candidates. The information here was created by analyzing the 2025 City, County and State filings of the 12 candidates in Boca Raton’s 2026 Municipal Election. Candidate PACs and other PACS that showed up in the filings are diagramed as to how the funds flow. Infographics made from the donation information is attached to each campaign or PAC.

The county and state are very transparent and provide PAC filings as downloadable spreadsheets from votepalmbeach.gov or myflorida.com.
The City of Boca Raton is not. Its treasurer report filings for each campaign are image PDF files that require a labor intensive conversion. BocaFirst reader Howard Greenberg and fellow “data junkie” who has experience in this area, volunteered to do the job. When completed and checked, Howard made the data available to us. In the interest of critical thinking and transparency, Howard created a web portal so everyone can browse and search the City Campaign Treasurer reports with just a few clicks. Finally, elections have filing dates when candidates must provide information periodically. As of this writing the most recent reporting date was for donations through 4Q2025 so all our analysis is as of that date.
