Michele Kurucz Peel

Michele grew up in Miami sailing Biscayne Bay and moved to Boca Raton in 1998. Her electrical engineering degree from Duke University led to a varied career with Westinghouse and Siemens in business development and engineering service management among other roles. Currently she works on strategic initiatives for Boca-based Geosyntec Consultants. Having raised 3 young adults, she now enjoys cooking and travelling (pre-COVID!) in her spare time. A former trustee of Friends of Gumbo Limbo and past president, Michele began volunteering at Gumbo Limbo in 2003, and helped found the Sea Turtle Rehab Facility.
