David Kohlberg is the son of Lawrence Kohlberg who developed Kohlberg’s Stages of Moral Reasoning https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_Kohlberg's_stages_of_moral_development. Discussion of moral issues was dinner table conversation from his infancy. Throughout adulthood he has sought to weave this experience into his exploration of spirituality and holistic healing. He founded and directs a small Foundation in Bodhgaya, Bihar, India, with philosophical, spiritual, and educational objectives. He runs a small Forestry operation in Uganda that is an outgrowth of a relation with an organization devoted to the development of indigenous African wisdom in modern context. He seeks to integrate his values in his Commercial Real Estate activities and investments, which no longer dominate his time.
