Andrea Levine O’Rourke, originally from Boston, Massachusetts, has been a Boca Raton resident since 1979, where she raised her family and developed a lifelong commitment to community service. She served on the Boca Raton City Council from 2017–2023 and as Deputy Mayor from 2020–2023. Andrea holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University. Her civic leadership has focused on mentorship, placemaking, public art, culture, education, and resident engagement. She has served as President of the Federation of Boca Raton Homeowners Associations and has contributed to numerous community organizations, including the Downtown Advisory Committee, Boca Raton Museum of Art Community Outreach Advisory, Rotary Club of Boca Raton, Boca Raton Innovation Campus AHA Committee, Palm Beach County Art in Public Places Advisory Committee, Workshop 344+, Boca Raton Historical Society Community Advisory Board, and Festival of the Arts Boca. Andrea received the Spirit of Giving Award from Florida Atlantic University’s Dorothy F. Schmidt College of Arts and Letters and was recognized with a Leaf on the Giving Tree by the Friends of the Library. In addition to her public service, Andrea owns a Creative Services business specializing in interior and commercial design and previously worked with The HARID Conservatory and the Greater Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.
