Alan Neibauer, originally from Philadelphia, lives in downtown Boca Raton. He has a degree in journalism from Temple University, and a masters degree from the Fels Institute of Government, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, which he attended as a Fels Scholar. Neibauer worked as a reporter and editor for several suburban Philadelphia newspapers, specializing in community planning and zoning boards. At the City of Philadelphia, he served as Public Information Officer covering the Philadelphia Planning Board, Health Department, and Voter Registration. He has written hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles. He served as chairman of the Computer Information Systems department at Holy Family College in Philadelphia, and has written over 60 books on computer hardware and software. He also served as a member of the Planning and Zoning Board in Longport, New Jersey, before relocating in South Florida.
