BOCA RATON October 30 2025: The 2026 election is approaching and election season is starting. It’s no secret that Boca Raton Residents are dissatisfied with the direction that an emboldened City Council took regarding the Boca Raton government campus. Nine people have taken the step beyond citizen participation/advocacy and thrown their hats into the ring to fill the Mayor and three City Council Member seats as first time candidates. Current Council Member Drucker terms out in 2027.
AS OF OCTOBER 31, these are the 14 people running for City Council seats. Five of them want to be mayor.
The 2026 Election Calendar
The next step in the 2026 election calendar is for all the candidates to qualify by filing proof of residency and a petition with 200 signatures from qualified electors. The qualification period ends on November 12, 2025. Then the final slate will be known. Stay tuned. The election is March 10, 2026.
